About Wendy Levenfeld

Wendy is a lover of books, travel, and ideas. Every space she inhabits is filled with books and comfortable nooks for reading. Her favorite contemporary writers include Amor Towles, Meg Wolitzer, Philipp Meyer, and early Kristin Hannah.

Wendy divides her writing life between a home office with a peaceful balcony view perfect for quiet reflection and a Chicago office alive with the energy of the city. She calls it “the best of both worlds” for creativity.

Travel is Wendy’s second great love. She has visited all seven continents and traveled more than 30 times to Israel exploring nearly every location highlighted in Mary: A Girl Who Changed the World. She has also privately toured Turkey and Egypt to deepen the authenticity of her storytelling.
