Description
For more than a decade, readers of Times Media in Northwest Indiana
joined me each week for six hundred words of wit, reflection, and
everyday chaos. No topic was off-limits—politics, sports, music, family life,
or even the occasional meltdown over a new phone that refused to transfer
my contacts. This collection gathers some of my favorite columns,
capturing the humor, heart, and unpredictability of life as it unfolded week
by week. From laugh-out-loud commentaries to thoughtful moments of
honesty, each piece offers a snapshot of a time, a place, and a writer trying
to make sense of it all. And yes—my annual New Year’s column is here too,
a playful recap of the year’s madness set to the tune of The Twelve Days of
Christmas. Insightful, funny, and endlessly relatable, this book is a
celebration of finding meaning (and laughter) in the everyday.
